| Translating Conversation Piece |
There's really no great scripting or new technologies in use here, but I'm hoping to make life a little easier for teachers with this one. Current laws require that teachers conference with parents a speicified number of times each year. The problem is that some parents speek little or no English, and a translator is not always available. This tool uses the translation service provided by Google to enable you to carry an entire conversation in Spanish and English from a single web page. |
| AJAX Instant Messenger |
This is an AJAX-based instant messenger. AJAX = Asyncronous JavaScript + XML. |
| National Weather Radar |
NOTE: This tool is still in the very early stages of development and may look a little "raw". The National Weather Radar uses a feed published by the National Weather Service to compile an image of several layers including topographic maps, boundries, highways, base-reflective radar and cities. |
| HTTP Request-Response Viewer |
This tool allows you to see the request and response that takes place over HTTP given a URL and proper HTTP verb.
